Entertainment in Finestrat
- Blue Flag Beaches: Started in 1987, the Blue Flag Campaign annually recognises those beaches with excellent environmental conditions and services. The distinction is bestowed by the European Federation of Environmental Education.
- Travel tip: If you want a long stretch of secluded sand, Playa Vivers (near Guardamar) it's backed by sand dunes, which are dotted with pines, palms and eucalyptus (picnic anyone?).
Dawn to dusk – every hour is a happy hour
When you’re staying in Finestrat, you can choose activities to suit your mood, the month or the moment.
It’s far enough away from Benidorm that you can enjoy the quiet life but it close enough so that the buzz and bustle, especially at night, is there when you want it.
Buses run every twenty minutes and can get you to the heart of Benidorm in ten minutes for hundreds of bars and clubs that stay open until sunrise.
There are also many bars and restaurants in Finestrat itself; playing live music, hosting pub quizzes and regular party events. There’s also a Casino on the seafront, if you fancy your chances at the roulette table.
Prefer another kind of club?
Water sports, lawn bowls, karting, rock climbing, tennis, aqua aerobics and arts classes are all ways to get out, enjoy yourself and meet new people in Finestrat.
You could also learn the language at a Spanish class. You’ll find the locals especially friendly here; many speak excellent English and will encourage you if you’re trying to master Spanish.
If golf’s your game, or you want to learn how to play; there are plenty of golf courses in the area to choose from; including courses designed by Jack Nicklaus the famous American golfer.
